Host Silvia Casabianca interviews Dr. Isaac Goren, DMQ (China), MAc on Medical QiGong. Medical QiGong is an ancient healing modality with roots in Chinese magic and Daoist shamanism. It is the branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine that deals with the energy (Qi or Chi) that circulates throughout the organs of the body and around the body (Wei Qi). Different organs in the body have not only different functions but also specific vibrational rates. According to Chinese Medicine, illness has an origin in the stagnation, deviation, deficit or excess of Qi in an organ. QiGong includes the practice of a series of movements, conscious breathing, visualization, meditation and intention to promote healing through facilitating the flow of Qi. You can also learn to emit Qi for healing purposes. QiGong needs to be practiced regularly for self-healing, revitalizing tissues, relieving pain and stress, strengthening the immune system and increasing the capacity to emit Qi.
