Dr. McCormick is a Board Certified Sports Chiropractic Physician and treats numerous recreational, high school, and college athletes. Dr. McCormick is also passionate about helping individuals with bone loss regain their skeletal health through a functional medicine approach. Dr. McCormick earned his bachelor's degree in Human Biology at Stanford University and his doctorate at the National College of Chiropractic. Sports have always played a vital part in Dr. McCormick's life. In 1975 Dr. McCormick won the North American Championship and the following year was a member of the United States Olympic Modern Pentathlon Team competing in the XXI Olympiad in Montreal. Dr. McCormick continues to compete in triathlons of all distances including Ironmans. Most recently he competed in the 2005 Ironman World Championships in Hawaii; and finished 7th and 9th respectively in his age group at the 2010 and 2011 70.3 Ironman Triathlon World Championships. Current publications by Dr. McCormick include Osteoporosis: Integrating Biomarkers and Other Diagnostic Correlates into the Management of Bone Fragility published in Alternative Medicine Review, June 2007, and The Whole-Body Approach to Osteoporosis, released by New Harbinger Publications in May 2009
