Having studied Qigong for over 25 years, Dr. Bernard Shannon is an internationally recognized teacher of Medical Qigong therapy, Daoist cultivation, alchemical and mystical practices, and martial concepts. He is the Executive Director of the International College of Medical Qigong, licensed through the Peoples Republic of China as a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and as a doctor of Medical Qigong.To continue the advancement of medical qigong, he also serves on the Executive Committee with the World Academic Society of Medical Qigong (China) and served as the Chairman of the Board with the National Qigong Association. NQA granted him the certifications of an Advanced Clinical Therapist and a Level IV Qigong Teacher, which are the highest certifications by that association.Knowledgeable in alchemical and mystical practices, Dr. Shannon is the Abbot of the Temple of Peace and Virtue and an ordained Daoist priest holding 21st generation Dragon Gate sect (Qingcheng Shan, Sichuan), 80th generation Shang Qing sect (Mao Shan, Jiangsu), and 65th generation Celestial Master sect (Longhu Shan, Jiangxi) lineages. He is also a Master Instructor in Baguazhang and Yang Family Taijiquan, holding certificates of instruction and lineage from associations China, Taiwan, and the United States.
